Blair Immink is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary “painter”. Blair studied his undergrad at OCAD U in the Drawing & Painting program and graduated in May 2020. Blair uses found objects, which range from; textiles, ceramics, ‘garbage,’ urban findings, etc. to compose a visual literacy. Within this literacy, Blair uses collage and assemblage methodologies to construct different things such as painting installations, clothing, collages, and much more. Practicing using found objects and materials, Blair proposes ways of enhancing the every day and choosing joy.
